Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. — General Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions are provided in English; the English version is binding.
1.1 These General Terms and Conditions apply to all courses, trainings, workshops, examinations, certifications, and related services provided by Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V., hereinafter referred to as “the Academy.”
1.2 Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. is a private educational institution providing professional training programs in beauty, nail styling, hair removal, and related fields of aesthetic care.
1.3 By registering for a course or training program, the student confirms acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions.
1.4 The Academy reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. The version applicable at the time of enrollment shall apply to the student’s agreement.
2.1 Enrollment is completed when:

2.3 The Academy reserves the right to refuse enrollment or cancel participation if requirements are not met or if circumstances prevent the Academy from providing the training.

3.2 Payment must be made according to the payment terms communicated at the time of enrollment.
3.3 If installment payments are offered, the student remains responsible for the full course fee, even if the student stops attending the course before completion.
3.4 Access to course materials, practical sessions, examinations, and certification may be suspended if payments are overdue.
3.5 All prices are subject to applicable taxes and fees unless stated otherwise.
4.1 International students are responsible for ensuring that they meet any travel, immigration, visa, and legal requirements applicable to their personal situation.
4.2 The Academy does not guarantee approval of visas, travel arrangements, or accommodation.
4.3 Costs related to travel, accommodation, insurance, and personal expenses are the responsibility of the student unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5.1 A student may request cancellation of a course by submitting a written request to Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V.
5.2 Cancellation is only valid after written confirmation from the Academy.
5.3 Registration fees, administration fees, and deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
5.4 If a student cancels after the start of the course, the student remains responsible for the full course fee.
5.5 Failure to attend classes, personal circumstances, travel issues, illness, or changes in personal circumstances do not automatically entitle the student to a refund.
6.1 The Academy may allow a student to transfer to another course date or training group, subject to availability and approval by the Academy.
6.2 Any additional costs related to rescheduling may be charged to the student.
6.3 Course transfers are not guaranteed and remain at the discretion of the Academy.
7.1 Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. reserves the right to change course dates, instructors, locations, or schedules when necessary.
7.2 The Academy will make reasonable efforts to inform students of any changes as soon as possible.
7.3 In exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to force majeure events, the Academy may postpone, replace, or modify training programs.
7.4 Force majeure includes circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Academy, such as natural disasters, government measures, transportation disruptions, or other unforeseen events.
8.1 Students are expected to attend all scheduled training sessions.
8.2 Attendance is an essential part of practical beauty education and may be required before a student is allowed to complete examinations or receive certification.
8.3 Students who arrive late or miss practical sessions may be required to complete additional training before certification.
8.4 The Academy reserves the right to deny certification if attendance requirements, practical requirements, or assessment requirements have not been fulfilled.
9.1 Many Academy programs include practical training performed on models or during hands-on sessions.
9.2 Students must follow all hygiene, safety, and professional standards instructed by the Academy.
9.3 Students are responsible for treating models, clients, products, and equipment with care and professionalism.
9.4 The Academy may refuse practical participation if a student does not comply with hygiene regulations, safety instructions, or professional conduct requirements.
9.5 Models participating in training sessions understand that treatments are performed by students under educational supervision.
9.6 The Academy is not responsible for personal reactions, allergies, sensitivities, or conditions that were not disclosed before treatment.
10.1 Students are responsible for bringing required personal materials and equipment unless otherwise provided by the Academy.
10.2 Product recommendations provided by the Academy are educational guidance and do not constitute a guarantee of specific results.
10.3 Students must use products and equipment according to professional instructions and safety standards.
11.1 Certain courses offered by Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. may include theoretical and practical examinations.
11.2 Examinations are designed to assess whether the student has achieved the required knowledge, technical skills, hygiene standards, and professional competencies.
11.3 The Academy determines the examination criteria, assessment methods, and passing requirements.
11.4 Students must complete all required assignments, practical assessments, attendance requirements, and financial obligations before receiving a final result.
11.5 If a student does not successfully complete an examination, the Academy may offer a resit opportunity under conditions determined by the Academy.
12.1 Upon successful completion of a course and fulfillment of all requirements, Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. may issue a certificate or diploma to the student.
12.2 Certificates and diplomas are issued under the authority of Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. and confirm completion of the Academy’s educational program.
12.3 The Academy’s certificates and diplomas represent professional training achievements and are issued by a private educational institution.
12.4 Unless specifically stated otherwise, certificates and diplomas issued by Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. are not government-accredited or state-recognized qualifications.
12.5 The Academy reserves the right to refuse issuance of certificates or diplomas if:

14.1 Students are expected to maintain professional behavior during all Academy activities.
14.2 Students must respect instructors, staff, classmates, models, and clients.

15.1 All course materials, manuals, training documents, images, videos, techniques, and educational content provided by Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. remain the intellectual property of the Academy unless otherwise stated.
15.2 Students may use course materials solely for their personal education and professional development.
15.3 Students may not copy, distribute, publish, sell, reproduce, or use Academy materials for commercial training purposes without written permission.
15.4 Unauthorized use of Academy materials may result in legal action.
16.1 The Academy may take photographs or videos during training activities for educational, promotional, or communication purposes.
16.2 Students who do not wish to appear in photographs or videos must inform the Academy in writing.
16.3 Students must respect privacy and confidentiality when sharing images of models, clients, instructors, or other students on social media.
17.1 Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. provides professional beauty education and makes every reasonable effort to ensure high-quality training and instruction.
17.2 The Academy is not liable for any indirect damage, loss of income, business interruption, or consequential damages arising from participation in training programs.
17.3 Students participate in practical training activities at their own responsibility and must follow all safety, hygiene, and professional instructions provided by the Academy.
17.4 The Academy is not responsible for allergic reactions, skin reactions, injuries, or other consequences resulting from treatments when:

18.1 Students are responsible for arranging appropriate personal insurance, including health insurance and professional liability insurance where applicable.
18.2 Students who provide beauty treatments professionally after completing training are responsible for obtaining their own professional insurance coverage.
18.3 Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. recommends that professional practitioners maintain suitable insurance protection.
19.1 Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. is committed to providing professional, transparent, and respectful educational services to all students. The Academy encourages students to communicate any concerns as soon as possible so that issues can be addressed in a fair and constructive manner.
19.2 Students who wish to submit a complaint must do so in writing. Complaints should be submitted within a reasonable period after the event or situation giving rise to the complaint.
19.3 A complaint must include:

19.5 The Academy will carefully review and handle the complaint and will provide a written response within thirty (30) calendar days after receipt of the complaint.
19.6 If a complaint requires additional investigation and cannot be resolved within thirty (30) calendar days, the student will be informed in writing before the end of this period. The Academy will explain the reason for the delay and provide an estimated timeframe for completion.
19.7 During the complaint process, students remain responsible for fulfilling their contractual obligations, including payment obligations, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Academy.
19.8 Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. will handle all complaints in a confidential, professional, and impartial manner.
19.9 If a complaint cannot be resolved through the internal complaints procedure, Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. may involve an independent third party or mediator to assist both parties in reaching a fair and reasonable solution.
19.10 The independent third party or mediator may review relevant information, hear both parties, and provide guidance or recommendations to support a resolution.
19.11 If both the student and Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. agree in writing to submit the matter to the independent third party for a final decision, the outcome of that procedure shall be accepted as binding by both parties.
19.12 All complaints, correspondence, investigation records, decisions, and documents relating to the handling of complaints shall be securely retained by Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. for a period of twelve (12) months after the complaint has been closed.
19.13 Complaint records shall only be accessible to authorized persons and shall be processed in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection regulations.
19.14 Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. uses complaints as an opportunity for continuous improvement and will regularly review complaint outcomes to improve the quality of its education, services, and student experience.
20.1 Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. respects the privacy of its students and is committed to protecting personal information collected during the enrollment process and throughout the student’s educational journey.

22.2 Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. and the student will first attempt to resolve any dispute through mutual consultation and good-faith communication.
22.3 If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the parties may consider mediation or assistance from an independent third party before initiating formal legal proceedings.
22.4 If no agreement can be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent court of Bonaire, unless mandatory legal provisions require otherwise.
23.1 These General Terms and Conditions apply to all courses, trainings, workshops, examinations, certificates, and related services provided by Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V.
23.2 If any provision of these General Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain fully valid and effective.
23.3 Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions when necessary due to changes in legislation, educational standards, or Academy policies.
23.4 Students will be informed of relevant changes when applicable. The version of the General Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of enrollment shall apply to the student agreement.
23.5 These General Terms and Conditions represent the complete agreement between Bonaire Beauty Academy N.V. and the student regarding the services provided by the Academy.
